The Company is a federally chartered mid-tier mutual holding company
incorporated in March 1999. The Bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the
Company, which is majority-owned by MHC, a federally chartered mutual holding
company. The Company?s common stock is traded on the Global Select tier of the
NASDAQ Stock Market under the symbol ?CFFN.?
The Bank is the only operating subsidiary of the Company. The Bank is a
federally-chartered and insured savings bank headquartered in Topeka, Kansas and
is examined and regulated by the Office of Thrift Supervision (?OTS?), its
primary regulator. It is also regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (?FDIC?). We primarily serve the entire metropolitan areas of
Topeka, Wichita, Lawrence, Manhattan, Emporia and Salina, Kansas and a portion
