AmeriGas Partners, L.P. is a publicly traded limited partnership formed under  Delaware law on November 2, 1994. We are the largest retail propane distributor  in the United States based on the volume of propane gallons distributed  annually. As of September 30, 2007, we served approximately 1.3 million  residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and motor fuel customers from  approximately 650 district locations in 46 states. The increase in district  locations from approximately 600 district locations as of September 30, 2006 is  primarily a result of acquisitions made during fiscal year 2007. In fiscal year  2008, we anticipate that many of the district locations added in fiscal year  2007 will be combined with other district locations that are situated in close  geographic proximity.  We are a holding company and we conduct our business principally through our  subsidiary, AmeriGas Propane, L.P.
